Some sections of the state feature architectural styles including Spanish revival, Florida vernacular, and Mediterranean Revival. Florida overall was ranked the 7th best state in America for educating students at all levels by U.S. News & World Report in 2018. The State University System of Florida was founded in 1905, and is governed by the Florida Board of Governors. In 2016, Florida charged the second lowest tuition in the nation for four years, $26,000 for in-state students, to $86,000 for out-of-state students. This compares with an average of $34,800 nationally for in-state students.
